I hope this one journal can cover everything you all need to know.

First off, I want you all to know that any prints you buy will help to fund my yearly trips to China to teach schoolchildren there English.

English education is extremely important in modern-day China; knowledge of the English language is a big advantage when looking for a job there.

Currently, most schoolchildren in China do not get a good English education, especially in the areas of listening comprehension and speaking. Many English teachers in China are themselves inexperienced, and thus it is difficult for children to learn.

All schoolchildren in China must take tests to get into high school. The quality of their English highly affects these tests, and this is one area most Chinese students lack ability in.

Every summer I travel to China to help children learn English for free. I focus on their speaking and listening skills, and within weeks they show a great deal of improvement, especially in English comprehension.

By buying my prints, you can help me to travel to China every summer until I graduate college, when I will move over there permanently. The profits will also go into purchasing supplies to teach with, which are afterwards donated to whatever school that hosts me.

While teaching, I use stories from the Bible to help them learn new English concepts. It is a fun and useful way for them to hear about God.
